Nothing gave Darlene more joy than making an impact on all young children’s lives she was able to teach. She enjoyed going out to eat at different restaurants and doing crafts. ![]() She taught first grade in Orlando, Fla., for 35 years. Darlene is survived by her sister, Dianne Burgess of Yates City.ĭarlene had her bachelor’s degree in education. They had two sons, who preceded her in death, Rocky Lee Duggins and Scotty D. She married James Noel Duggins on June 29, 1957. ![]() She is the daughter of Norman “Wayne” Bird and Frances Fern Dalton.ĭarlene was a graduate of Yates City High School.
